I played in alot of western mass. bands (GREY MATTER, BLACK CHRISTMAS, NO PRESERVATIVES, CATHARSIS, GRACEFULLY AGING HIPPY SOLOISTS WITH FOUNTAINS TURNED BACKWORDS, GOBBLEHOOF) from 1983 to 1989, then started SEBADOH with Jason + Lou in my garage and house near the casket and magnet and pizza factories off RT. 9 in Florence, Massachusetts (Summer, 1989)
